Design & Development
Using a new backdrop and HPL work in the front area was the solution to create a fresh, updated impression inside the courtroom. The choice of a wood motif and deep green color highly supports the philosophy and theme of a courtroom. Beyond aesthetics, using materials like carpet or acoustic foam for the backdrop will significantly reduce the echo and reverberation within the room a crucial factor given the large size of the courtroom and the lack of existing acoustic treatment.

The detailed architectural concept focuses on the judges' bench area, where dark wood paneling and traditional carvings are placed as the visual focal point, supported by accent lighting that highlights the wall textures. The lower wall area is clad in deep green paneling to provide a calm and contrasting ambiance. Meanwhile, spatial efficiency is achieved with a symmetrical and uniform seating arrangement for the public, utilizing light wood material and neutral ceramic flooring to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
