After extensive research into campervans and camping grounds, the Retro design emerged. Since the client is an automotive enthusiast, this helped inform the concept for both the camping ground and the vehicle's interior. The campervan's location in the Dieng highlands was a key factor in selecting the materials and installation techniques; I needed to use materials that would keep the users warm inside the vehicle.

The design details are twofold: The Campervan Interior is crafted with a Tropical Minimalist approach, utilizing light wood paneling and window shading for a warm feel, along with optimized built-in furniture for sleeping, cooking, and dining functions within the very limited space. Meanwhile, the Camping Ground Area emphasizes a communal and warm atmosphere through string lights and a centralized bonfire pit, creating an ideal relaxing environment for modern nomads.
